As a country, our human capital is our most valuable asset and it must be protected at all cost.
Hatred and white supremacy are the top threats to 1) the viability of the country — socially and economically, — and 2) the national defense of the country at all levels. Our citizens of diverse backgrounds touch every fabric of our country. They teach in our schools, serve at the highest level in our military, grow our food, secure our borders, run our cities, entertain us, contribute to innovation, operate hospitals, care for our elders, and manage our most critical infrastructure. Yet, we think it is okay to marginalize these citizens and their communities at a time when we know our adversaries from State Actors to terrorist groups to drug cartels are looking for ways to recruit people to their agenda.
Once again, we to-le-rate hatred and white supremacy. Why? Such behavior sabotages the wellness of our country and must be eradicated. It is a state of emergency.
I call on all our systems, from the DOJ, the President, the Governors, The Mayors of every city, Congress, FBI, CIA, NSA, Police Chiefs, Military Leaders, Principals, Superintendents, Supervisors, CEOs of Fortune 100 company, and every leader of Departments within Federal, State, and City government, to not only denounce hatred and white supremacy but to establish punitive policies that punish severly any and all actors of hate, whether those actions are violent in nature, threatening, or simply discriminatory in behavior.
A person’s right to hate as a citizen does not trump each citizen’s fundamental right to respect as a human being. #ZeroTolerance #InSolidarityWithAllOurBrethrenAsianAfricanAmericanLatinoIndigenous #NoMore
